OEM Panel Trim Retainer - Maroon

You know when you are removing plastic trim panels from your Toyota or Lexus vehicle and those stupid little retainer clips ALWAYS break? Do you know why they break? It turns out you touched them. A decade or two of time and heat cycles will do that to nylon. So if you are planning to install the Quarter Panel Mount or just add sound deadening to your ride, these clips will assuredly snap in half.

Now you get to be that person that replaces the missing/broken retainer clips instead of being that person that just looks at the missing clip, in shame, and pretends its still there. Toyota did us a favor by making retainer clips all color coded. So changes are a maroon retainer clip found between models could be the same clip.

This maroon, nylon retainer clip fits most Toyota and Lexus vehicles starting in 1990. On the 80 Series these clips are used on the pillar covers and the hatch panel.
