On the US versions of the 80 Series 1FZ engines with OBD2, it is not too uncommon to find a need to replace the entire engine harness. Perhaps you are rebuilding the entire motor and you want all fresh wiring and non-brittle connectors. Perhaps the 24 year old plastic clip at the firewall failed and the EGR valve melted thru the harness. Or maybe you are tired of trying to track down an electrical gremlin caused by some jack ass previous owner that shouldn't have been messing with the stock wiring.
